Army Reserve soldiers complete a minimum of 27 days training a year in order to support or work along side their regular counter-parts.
Within the squadrons of The Royal Yeomanry this comprises a weekly "Drill Night" held on Wednesday evenings between 7:30 – 9:30 pm, some weekends and an two-week annual camp.
For ex-Regular soldiers who have recently left the Army, the training commitment reduces to 19 days per year and no mandatory annual camp for up to 3 years.
